The Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA) has a long history. Since its inception in 1928, it has existed to advocate on behalf of and meet the needs and aspirations of Métis people in Alberta.

Métis Crossing Cultural Centre, near Smoky Lake Alberta is looking to hire a Youth Cultural Co-ordinator

 

The Youth Cultural Coordinator is responsible to hire, lead, supervise and train the Cultural Interpreters and Zip line Guides. This training to include Metis Culture, Public Speaking and Presentation, Customer Service, Special Event Planning, Leadership, as well as First Aid and Health and Safety. This is a full time term position starting in May 2011.

 

Weekend work is mandatory.

The Youth Cultural Co-odinator works with Youth and will model, coach and promote Métis pride in their culture and history to Staff and Guests. They will implement programming, plan and coordinate special events with their youth team.
 
This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
